Herbs de Provence Steak
I have to admit this is my go to pan seared steak recipe. It is easy, quick and delicious. You can season the steak the night before to have the herbs really infuse, but it’s not necessary. You can also season and just cook. I have done it both ways and it was great each time.
Makes 2 – 3 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Skirt Steak (cut into 3-4 pieces)
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- 1 tbsp Herbs de Provence
- 2 – 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper
Instructions:
- Squeeze lime juice onto steak pieces. You can wash out the lime and pat dry or just pat dry.
- Season each piece with salt and pepper.
- Add remaining ingredients and let marinate (30 mins to 24 hours)
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a cast iron skillet. Once hot, add steak and pan cook on each side until desired level of doneness.
- I usually cook 3-4 minutes per side for medium.
- Serve with salad or rice or pasta or just about anything!
